Welcome
At. St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, we are called together regularly to love, pray, and worship, always growing in faith and raising future generations to know the love of God. And through our service, stewardship, vocation, and play, go forth to promote and spread the word of the kingdom of God, in accordance with our Father's will, through his Son, Jesus Christ, rejoicing on the power of the Holy Spirit.
What is Episcopalian?
We believe that God love you- No expectation.
In God we Trust- As Father; As Son; As Holy Spirit. We emphasize Jesus Christ's teaching, death, and resurrection as the foundation of Christian faith. We carry the balance between Catholic and protestant traditional and progressive doctrine of Christ and scripture.
Through the teaching of the Bible, practices of the Historic Church (Roman Church), and thoughtful human reflection, all play important roles in guiding faith and moral decisions.
Quote
“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved,”
Roman 10:9
